EXTENDED BIO, THIRD PERSON

PM Stover started out his career in IT on the front lines as a technical support specialist for Philips in Jefferson City, TN.  Ignoring the fact that he was studying performing arts and theatre at the University of Tennessee, PM had a natural knack for understading technology systems, as well as how to instruct people how to use, manage, and repair that technology.  During his time there, PM taught himself HTML and started to learn more about database and server systems which he applied towards building self service customer and peer portals.

After working for Philips, and seeing a vacuum in future technologies for small and medium companies, PM Stover joined with Larsen Jay to form WebSource Technologies, a and technology consulting firm, targeting small and midsized companies in the Southeast US.  Over the next 15+ years, PM moved between private industry and technology consulting, with several breaks to further his education.

PM Stover is currently the Director of for DoubleJay Creative, an award-winning, Emmy-nominated visual media company in Knoxville, TN.  At DoubleJay Creative he oversees the company’s technology and information systems.  His vision for DoubleJay Creative is to fnd new ways to leverage technology to accelerate the  integration of media solutions across multiple delivery systems and to help DoubleJay Creative lead the way in high-end  media production.

His extensive hands-on experience in technology includes stints as a WebLogic lead administrator, java programmer, front-line support manager, GUI design specialist, IT transition consultant, and network engineer. Prior to joining DoubleJay Creative, he spent more than 15 years honing his technology and client relationship skills with companies such as EDS, The Coca-Cola Company, Toshiba Corp., SomaLogic, The Colorado School of Mines, Newmont Mining Corporation, and Arioso, a Denver- based ASP, where he rose to the level of senior systems engineer. During his time there, he led teams responsible for software development technology, Web and electronic commerce technologies and operations, and technologies for knowledge workers.
